zero° began in 2018 after our founder, Seraj, tore his rotator cuff and developed arthritis doing this:

I was a daredevil growing up, and was constantly getting injured. My mother got used to tending to my injuries with our family's remedy passed down through generations - a blend of warm olive oil infused with cayenne, ginger, and rosemary, strained and massaged into the pain.
Our family back home in North Africa has a small farm where they grow both olives and rosemary amongst other native plants. Olive oil and other botanicals have been used as natural healers in that region of the world for thousands of years. And today's scientific advancements prove the therapeutic benefits they provide.
So when I tore my rotator cuff in 2018, I knew exactly what to do to help relieve the pain and expedite the recovery. The blend was effective like always, but I needed it everyday and it became a hassle to make.
So for the first time ever, I resorted to over-the-counter topicals and quickly found them ineffective. The relief didn't last long, and the fillers and chemicals they used actually work against your body, slowing down your recovery.
At this point, I was desperate. So I spent many months formulating balms using the same techniques our family has been using for generations.
I was the guinea pig and very soon my apartment was overflowing with muscle balm so I decided to share it with friends and family. The results and the feedback was overwhelmingly better than expected.
Over the last 5 years, I continued to perfect the formula based on advanced research and science, professional consultations, and feedback from our bespoke clients.
